Re: Low DHEA may cause cancer and thrombosis

It is my hypothesis that low DHEA may trigger cancer (see James M. Howard, "Comments and Responses," Annals of Internal Medicine 2005; 141: 471-472). For example, DHEA peaks around age 20-25 then begins to decline, reaching very low levels in old age. Hence, the increased incidence of cancer in the elderly may be due to low DHEA.

It is also my hypothesis that thrombosis may result from low DHEA www.anthropogeny.com/Thrombosis May Be Caused by Low DHEA.htm ). A strong case may be made that low DHEA is connected with increased thrombosis in a number of areas of known low DHEA.

I suggest DHEA may be an effective agent in the treatment of thrombosis associated with cancer as well as other conditions in which low DHEA may result in increased thrombosis.
