A dendritic cell tumor in an HIV-infected patient: case report

introduction
Dendritic cell neoplasms are tumors of nonlymphoid, nonphagocytic immune accessory cells present in lymphoid and nonlymphoid organs [1, 2]. These tumors are rare, and knowledge about them depends on small series or isolated case reports [3–8].
We describe a new case of dendritic cell neoplasm, which occurred in a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patient. To the best
